  • By Boomguy88, July 22, 2010 @ 5:01 am

@porta123stella nah I Amelie is gone for good shes 30+ years old and she didn’t stop for 10-15 years

  • By porta123stella, July 22, 2010 @ 5:33 am

@Boomguy88 Yes she’s so funny… Everybody in women’s tennis keeps saying “I am 100% retired” and then two months later they’re on court again.. Like Lindsay, Kim, Justine, Molik…

she should be a tennis channel corresponder or something. She has heart, will, dignity, humor, and class. The young starters on the wta could learn a lot from her.

Hey, really great great ceremony!! Pretty farewell party on court with Amelie. 🙂

  • By smileforever2103, July 22, 2010 @ 9:00 am

You’re right, Amelie. I’m disappointed that you retired but I’m happy that you’re happy. Tennis won’t be the same without you. Have a good life, beautiful. I love you.

P.S: If you ever, ever feel the urge to come back, just do it. You’re never too old to come back ;).
